TRS wins at PTCC

The sun shines down brightly on Tuason Racing School (TRS), in spite of the heavy rains that plagued its third weekend of racing, at the 2008 Philippine Touring Car Championship, (PTCC) held at the Subic International Raceway.

In a series dominated by mostly Honda Civics, Stuart Mac Donald defies the norm and qualifies on Pole Position and leads the race from start to finish to take 1st place in the TRS 1.6liter FOCUS Sedan.

Mike Tuason driving the TRS Ford Focus TDCI racecar on the other hand, qualified at 5th and battled on with Joward Policarpio, Doby Attilano and teammate Dominic Samson. The car despite running at 250 kilograms overweight finishes 2nd place during the two legs of the Production Car category.

It was a very good weekend for the team, with a 2nd over-all spot in the Championship, and with Stuart down by only 1 point to Doby Attilano. With 6 races to go in the season, it seems that nothings going to stop the "Green Motor Sports Program" that TRS and Ford Philippines is promoting.
